Job Overview Night Shift Ultrasound Technologist at Shea Medical Center, 9003 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ. Shift: 3x12‑hour nights. $5,000 sign‑on bonus available. Responsibilities Perform ultrasound diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and others as needed. Use appropriate technical factors to ensure image quality and patient safety. Transport patients between exam rooms and maintain equipment and environment. Acquire and evaluate digital images, documenting results. Assist physicians with diagnostic procedures and medication administration. Co‑ordinate daily workflow and maintain efficient operation of the department. Conduct quality control testing and maintain equipment condition. Attend orientation, training, and in‑servicing of staff as required. Manage inventory and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Education High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program preferred. Experience At least 6 months of clinical ultrasound experience (inclusive of education). Certifications and Licenses Sonography Principles & Instrumentation – Certificate from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent. Basic Life Support (BLS) – Current and valid certification. ARCRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Certification or ARDMS SPI credentialed within 180 days. Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – Which may include qualifying exams in Abdomen, Breast, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatric Sonography, or Vascular Technology.
