AV Installation Technician Department: Technician Employment Type: Full Time Location: Houston, TX (Echo) Reporting To: Luis, President Compensation: $35.00 - $50.00 / hour Description *** APPLY ONLINE ONLY *** Job Description:
- Skilled Low-Voltage Installation Technician
- A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.
- Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

- Read and interpret floor plans and technical documents
- Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires (AV/Network/Control/Lighting/Shading)
- Build and lace equipment racks
- Advanced setup and configuration of devices
- Advanced understanding of networks
- Advanced troubleshooting of devices
- Programming of Lutron/Control4/Crestron/Savant/Vantage
- Train clients on use of systems
- Speak Spanish (not required)
- 3+ yrs experience working in Resi/Commercial AV
- Retrofit Skills: Mastery of sheetrock cutting and wire fishing techniques.
- Low voltage cabling wizard
- Self motivated w/ passion for Custom Electronics
- Attitude for learning & Personal Growth
- $35/hr-$50/hr - Yup!
