Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Supreme Industries is actively seeking a motivated and dependable Lube Technician to support our growing fleet operations across heavy civil, utility, and infrastructure construction projects throughout the Northeast and beyond. This position plays a critical role in maintaining equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting field operations through preventative maintenance and service support of construction equipment and fleet assets. What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance services including draining and replacing fluids and filters on heavy equipment and fleet vehicles
• Inspect and top off fluid levels as needed
• Properly collect and label oil samples from equipment components
• Perform equipment inspections and communicate maintenance concerns to Foremen and Fleet Management
• Accurately document completed work orders and maintenance history in fleet maintenance software systems
• Coordinate equipment service schedules with Superintendents and field leadership to minimize downtime
• Maintain service trucks, tooling, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition
• Follow maintenance procedures, repair manuals, and company safety standards
• Support overall fleet reliability through proactive communication and attention to detail
• Carry out job duties while maintaining the Supreme values
• And other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Prior experience in the diesel, fleet, or heavy equipment industry preferred
• Valid CDL Class B or Class A license required
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred
• Clean and insurable driving record
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to utilize maintenance software systems
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and technical information
• Strong communication skills and ability to document completed work clearly and accurately
• Reliable, safety-focused, and committed to high-quality work

This position is covered by an applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates who are not currently members of the applicable union may be required to satisfy union membership requirements in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement and applicable law.
