Join us to drive positive, lasting change that moves missions and the government forward!As Senior Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that the migration process aligns with organizational objectives and delivers value. Working within the Agile framework, you will analyze current business processes, define future states, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful migration of applications to modern hosting environments.ResponsibilitiesPerform requirements analysis and documentation activities such as: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process observation; Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications; Create comprehensive documentation including user stories, use cases, process flows, and system requirements; and Maintain requirements traceability throughout project lifecyclesConduct Process Analysis and Improvement Activities such as: Conduct gap analysis between current state and desired future state; Develop process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures; etc.Engage in Stakeholder Management Activities such as: Collaborate with business users, project managers, developers, and other key stakeholders, etc.Perform Systems Analysis & Testing activities such as: Analyze system functionality and performance to ensure alignment with business requirementsConduct Data Analysis & Reporting Activities such as: Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-makingWhat you'll need to succeed7 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Agile software development programs, preferably within federal environmentsBachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degreeProven experience translating mission and business needs into epics, features, and well-defined user stories with acceptance criteria in an Agile environmentStrong communication skills, both written and oral, and experience facilitating discussions to elicit requirements with business usersHands-on experience using JIRA, Confluence, and/or GitHub to manage backlogs, document requirements, and maintain traceabilityStrong ability to collaborate with product owners, engineers, and Scrum teams, supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release activitiesExperience performing gap analyses and workflow analysis to define current vs. future state system capabilitiesExperience supporting user acceptance testing, system testing and validation, ensuring delivered functionality aligns with documented requirementsClearanceAn active TS/SCI with polygraph federal security clearance is required
