A well-established, multi-billion-dollar steel manufacturer seeks an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at its Tooele, Utah facility.
This is a long-term opportunity with a stable company known for strong employee retention and a proven track record of promoting from within.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily plant operations and production
- Oversee manufacturing of reinforcement mesh and steel bars
- Manage production schedules, quality, and efficiency
- Lead supervisors and production employees
- Drive safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to reduce costs
- Oversee equipment maintenance and minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements
- Manage plant operating budgets and expenses
- Address quality issues and customer concerns
- Support long-term growth and process improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing management experience
- Plant management, operations management, or manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience in steel, wire mesh, rebar, metal fabrication, construction materials or a related industry strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of production, quality, and safety
- Experience leading production teams and supervisors
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with manufacturing/production management systems
Compensation & Benefits
- $150,000–$160,000 base salary
- 10% quarterly bonus
