Fractional Chief Operating Officer

To support a growing small business, the part-time Fractional Chief Operating Officer will provide executive-level guidance on organizational growth, mergers and acquisitions, and operational maturity while working remotely and managing an initial engagement capped at 10 hours per month. Key responsibilities Advise founders on organizing and prioritizing strategic and operational workstreams Provide guidance on financial operations, including bookkeeping, reporting, and profitability forecasting Support leadership in evaluating vendor relationships, partnerships, and compliance with government contracting requirements Required qualifications 15+ years of executive leadership or advisory experience in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, or business integration Demonstrated experience advising executive teams through significant growth events or transactions Strong ability to translate strategic needs into clear priorities and recommended actions Experience evaluating multiple business functions, including finance, operations, and compliance Ability to operate independently in a fractional consulting capacity with limited hours
