Business Development Executive Southeast

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Business Development Executive to drive diagnostic testing adoption across southeastern health systems and hospitals. The role focuses on advancing clinical and economic value propositions to healthcare leaders while coordinating internal resources to expand testing utilization and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead adoption of IDD diagnostic tests within hospitals and large healthcare organizations from implementation through revenue realization
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across allergy, autoimmune, and diagnostic markets including urgent care facilities
• Develop business cases and present clinical and economic value propositions to C-suite and healthcare decision makers
• Coordinate with Strategic Account Managers, sales specialists, and marketing teams to execute aligned growth initiatives
• Meet assigned sales targets through disciplined pipeline management and strategic account planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field
• 8+ years sales or business development experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or pharmaceuticals
• Proven track record exceeding sales targets in complex healthcare environments
• Deep knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, reimbursement models, and laboratory operations
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to influence senior executives
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating resources without formal authority
• 50-75% travel availability within assigned five-state territory
