Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus and Commission Position: Account Executive Location: Tampa, FL Work format: Hybrid , 2 days a week in office About: Company is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, offering services such as cell site backhaul and small cell deployments for wireless operators, as well as Ethernet, Wavelength, and Dark Fiber solutions for telecom carriers and enterprise clients. Whether the challenge is improving network reach and quality, increasing capacity or maintaining cost certainty for the future, company delivers a custom-designed, technology- and access-agnostic solution. Responsibilities: Proactively identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the assigned territory, focusing on prospects located on or near the company’s existing or planned fiber network. Drive consistent business development efforts through strategic cold calling, prospect engagement, and a high volume of in-person meetings, resulting in the achievement of assigned revenue goals. Conduct thorough assessments of customer telecommunications and data infrastructure needs; recommend tailored solutions; and develop, present, and follow up on formal proposals. Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts and activity reports to support pipeline visibility and performance tracking. Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams throughout the design, construction, installation, and service activation phases. Manage the processing of contracts and sales orders for new or upgraded services with precision and efficiency. Support key business initiatives through ad hoc projects and financial analysis as needed. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and company objectives. Maintain a flexible schedule and travel as required to meet business needs. Requirements: 2-5 years minimum of successful sales experience, business development, and territory management in a telecom, data communications, or ISP environments including cold calling and prospecting. Working knowledge of data and telecommunication industry and terminology. Proven track record of success in exceeding assigned sales quotas. Experienced in creating and presenting compelling written sales proposals to decision makers. Willingness to represent the Company at networking events, tradeshows and activities. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with Salesforce, CRM software platforms a plus. A self-starter driven to achieve revenue targets primarily through cold calling, green field market development, effective networking and marketing in the target markets assigned. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Strong customer orientation. Good problem-solving skills, positive and results oriented attitude. Familiarity with new and emerging telecommunications technology, including but not limited to fiber optics, new fiber builds requiring laterals into buildings, FTTX, Ethernet WANS, IP, VoIP- PBX, with a willingness to learn new skills and technologies quickly. Highly proactive and responsible. Team player, collaborative, highest integrity, and strong business ethics. Working Conditions: Ability to work multiple tasks in a stressful environment while maintaining a positive and pleasant manner with others. Ability to handle a large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment. Ability to travel up to 20%. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
