Territory Sales Manager – Material Handling Equipment Established material handling dealer seeking Territory Sales Managers for our allied division of material handling equipment — Interlake-Mecalux pallet storage rack, Roach conveyor, and Southworth lift tables and loading dock equipment. Our prospects and customers are distribution centers and manufacturing facilities. Our company has been in operation since 1966 . We have salesmen on staff that have tenure with Southwest for 21 and 23 years. We think this speaks volumes on the type of company we are. If the following describes you we want to hear from you : Rack and Conveyor Sales Experience Helpful Computer Skills Layout of Pallet Rack Systems Significant experience in cold calling and prospecting. Industrial Engineering background helpful. Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks without supervision; while at the same time willing and able to communicate regularly with management about goal progress, new business opportunities, etc. Must be an aggressive " hunter " with a strong desire to succeed Experience managing an assigned geographic sales area and line of products to grow existing and new customer business as well as grow market share. Ability to close sales through a consultative sales process. Strong working knowledge and appreciation of CRM program to manage territory. Strong business acumen — understanding basic financial principles. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Creative problem solving - we have been doing it for 60 years!
