Accounting Clerk

PrideStaff Financial is hiring for an Accounting Clerk in Yuba City. This position is full time Monday - Friday reporting to the Accounting Supervisor. This is a highly desirable culture in a regional office with lots of comrade. Job duties include:

• Process vendor invoices, prepare and mail checks, and handle accounts receivable entries.
• Reconcile bank statements by comparing them to the general ledger and other financial records.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, such as monthly statements, and verify their accuracy.
• Perform duties such as, receiving and recording cash, handling purchase orders, and responding to payroll questions
• Enter and post financial transactions into accounting software, maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Accounting preferred not required
• One year accounting experience
• MS Office Word, Excel
• Basic accounting principles
• Attention to details

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $23.00 Per Hour
