Applications Project Manager

Role Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager/Applications Project Manager to coordinate software delivery, maintain accurate progress visibility, manage dependencies, and support clear communication among engineering teams, stakeholders, and leadership.

• Coordinate delivery across multiple software development teams.
• Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and release schedules.
• Maintain Jira as the primary delivery management platform, keeping work items, dashboards, and reporting accurate and current.
• Monitor sprint progress, backlog health, delivery commitments, and release readiness.
• Coordinate regularly with engineering leads and stakeholders to maintain accurate status.
• Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, and delivery metrics.
• Drive accountability for action items, decisions, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Improve delivery processes, Jira governance, and operational efficiency.
• Promote consistent project management practices across development teams.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or Project Manager.

Requirements

• Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
