Position Summary

\n

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Azure & Power Platform Architect/Developer to design, build, and establish a new enterprise application using Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure event-driven services .

\n

The ideal candidate will combine solution architecture and hands-on development experience. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end technical solution, including Power Apps, Dataverse data architecture, Azure integration, APIs, security, event-driven processing, ALM/DevOps, deployment, and troubleshooting.

\n

This is not a Power Apps configuration-only position . The candidate must have strong software development, integration, Azure, Dataverse, and architecture experience.

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• 8+ years of experience in Microsoft application development, cloud engineering, or solution architecture.
\n
• 4+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience.
\n
• Microsoft PL-400: Power Platform Developer Associate certification — current or previously obtained.
\n
• Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse .
\n
• Strong experience designing and developing enterprise Power Apps solutions.
\n
• Experience designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Azure .
\n
• Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing .
\n
• Experience integrating Power Platform/Dataverse with Azure and external enterprise systems.
\n
• Strong knowledge of application security, identity, APIs, data architecture, ALM, and DevOps.

• Design the end-to-end architecture for a new Power Platform application.
\n
• Design Dataverse tables, relationships, security, and data access patterns.
\n
• Develop Model-Driven and/or Canvas Power Apps.
\n
• Design and implement Azure-based event-driven integrations.
\n
• Develop Dataverse plug-ins, Custom APIs, connectors, and server-side extensions.
\n
• Develop using C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST, JSON, and Microsoft APIs as applicable.
\n
• Integrate Power Platform with Azure SQL, enterprise APIs, legacy applications, and external systems.
\n
• Design synchronous vs. asynchronous processing patterns.
\n
• Implement authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID and managed identities.
\n
• Establish DEV, TEST/UAT, and PROD environments.
\n
• Implement Power Platform ALM using managed solutions, environment variables, connection references, and deployment pipelines.
\n
• Establish source control and CI/CD using Azure DevOps and/or Power Platform Pipelines .
\n
• Troubleshoot performance, integration, and application issues.
\n
• Create architecture diagrams, data models, interface specifications, and deployment documentation.
\n
• Conduct technical design and code reviews.
\n
• Support production deployment and transition to operations.
\n

• Microsoft PL-600 – Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
\n
• Microsoft Azure architecture/developer certification
\n
• Enterprise or Federal Government Power Platform experience
\n
• Azure DevOps and Agile/SAFe experience
\n
• Experience modernizing legacy applications using Power Platform and Azure
\n
• Experience migrating SQL/legacy data into Dataverse
\n
• Experience with NIST, RMF, or Federal security requirements
\n

Desired Candidate Profile

The successful candidate should be able to independently translate:

The individual will serve as a senior technical authority while remaining directly involved in architecture, development, integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment .

Education

\n

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.

\n

Equivalent technical education, certifications, and directly relevant enterprise development experience may be considered.
