Fund Accountant

Fund Accountant (Contract) We are partnering with a leading investment management firm to hire two Fund Accountants to support a newly launched $20B private real estate fund. These consultants will join the finance and fund operations team during a high-volume period, playing a critical role in quarter‑end close, financial reporting, and fund accounting cleanup initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support quarter‑end close processes for a large private real estate fund Assist with fund accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting Perform account analysis and resolve outstanding accounting items Prepare and review journal entries, supporting schedules, and working papers Partner with finance and fund operations teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting Investigate discrepancies and maintain strong financial controls Contribute to ad hoc accounting and operational projects as needed Qualifications 3–6 years of experience in fund accounting, private equity, or investment management accounting Prior experience with private funds; real estate fund experience preferred Strong understanding of fund accounting, financial reporting, and close processes Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Title Fund Accountant Location New York, New York - Onsite Client Industry Real Estate Fund Compensation 100,000 -135,000 Ref ID 1688544 #J-18808-Ljbffr Ports North
