Work Environment\n

This full-time position is designed to be remote, reflecting the flexible nature of our counseling services while still engaging with our community. The counselor will also have the opportunity to work within our outpatient office for necessary in-person appointments. Key Responsibilities\n

The LMHC will undertake crucial responsibilities to ensure the best therapeutic outcomes for clients, including:

• Traveling between regional programs as necessary to support client needs and therapeutic services.
\n
• Completing comprehensive Biopsychosocial assessments within one day of client admission to gather essential background information.
\n
• Establishing therapeutic rapport by meeting clients within twenty-four hours of their admission, facilitating immediate support and trust.
\n
• Developing and finalizing the Comprehensive Treatment Plan and Integrated Treatment Summary within three days of admission to set actionable goals.
\n
• Identifying individualized treatment goals weekly and drafting contracts that cater to specific client needs, ensuring clear expectations and accountability.
\n
• Writing and overseeing the Discharge Summary to document treatment progress and make recommendations for aftercare.
\n
• Conducting individual psychotherapy sessions three times per week to provide continuous support and interventions.
\n
• Facilitating conjoint family psychotherapy sessions at least once per week to enhance family dynamics and support systems.
\n
• Leading professional group sessions and Multifamily and Alumni groups to foster community and ongoing recovery support.
\n
• Interfacing effectively with insurance companies to provide necessary clinical information for certifications and continuing stay reviews.
\n
• Providing educational psychotherapeutic interventions and maintaining communication with clients regarding their treatment plans.
\n
• Staying accessible to family members to enhance their involvement in the therapeutic process and support their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will operate within a diverse client population that includes individuals facing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to dual diagnosis, eating disorders, and chemical dependency. The counselor's expertise will enable them to build trusting relationships with clients and their families while guiding them through treatment with empathy and understanding.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.

• Licensure or registration as a mental health counselor in Washington State is mandatory.

• Knowledge of dual diagnosis, chemical dependency, and eating disorders is essential for effective treatment.

• Minimum one year of experience in acute care or residential treatment settings, or closely related clinical experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of the therapeutic process, ethics, and confidentiality laws.

• Exceptional communication skills to interact with diverse individuals and families from various educational and cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferences for this role include additional certifications under the supervision of a Licensed Independent Practitioner, and experience with integrative treatment methodologies that foster holistic recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
