Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic media and technology location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting our values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.80 per Hour Job Schedule: Saturday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, lobbies, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, with awareness that working conditions may vary by site. Monitor access points and visitor activity, help deter unauthorized entry, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Support daily operations at a fast‑paced media and technology‑focused location by observing surroundings, assisting with directions and questions, and following post orders for scheduled rounds and incident response. Minimum Requirements: Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
