Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity calls for a skilled licensed pharmacist to support a community retail pharmacy serving patients with accuracy and care. This contract position is based in Knox, IN, providing stable coverage while the facility searches for a permanent hire. The role demands precision, adherence to protocols, and effective teamwork within a patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and verify technician-prepared products before release
• Maintain the security of the pharmacy and controlled substances in compliance with regulations
• Enter orders and patient information into the pharmacy system with a high level of accuracy
• Participate in retail pharmacy operations, ensuring excellent patient service and support

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with an active Indiana license
• Previous retail pharmacy experience is essential
• Familiarity with the PioneerRx order entry system is preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of medication and patient information
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Schedule & Location:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Every other Saturday coverage, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Knox, Indiana – local candidates preferred to facilitate the required in-person training and ongoing coverage

Additional Details:

• Three days of training and orientation required prior to start date
• Business casual dress code expected
• Contract position starting June 29th and continuing until a permanent pharmacist is hired
