Regional Fulfillment Center General Manager As one of the nation’s largest suppliers of appliance and HVAC parts, Encompass’s Regional Fulfillment Center General Manager leads operations at our 100,000‑square‑foot facility in Lewisville, TX. The role oversees safety, efficiency, and productivity to ensure on‑time, damage‑free delivery of parts to businesses and consumers. Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance Promote a safety‑first culture and enforce safety protocols. Develop and enforce safety programs to maintain a zero‑incident workplace. Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards. Conduct safety audits, training, and emergency response drills. Operations Management Manage inventory, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving. Develop and execute strategies to meet performance metrics. Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. Optimize facility layout, equipment, and staffing for productivity. Support strategic and business improvement projects. Leadership & Team Development Lead and mentor managers, supervisors, and frontline staff. Recruit, train, and develop talent through formal programs. Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and teamwork. Coach, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews. Financial & Business Management Analyze KPIs and report to adjust strategies for efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Develop and manage the fulfillment center’s budget. Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining service levels. Customer Service & Quality Assurance Ensure on‑time, accurate order fulfillment. Implement quality control measures to reduce errors and returns. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize operations. Previous change‑management experience. 5+ years of experience in fulfillment, distribution, or warehouse management. 4+ years of experience managing teams of 50+ in a high‑volume environment. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, ERP systems, and data analytics tools. Strong knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety regulations. Work Environment Fast‑paced, high‑volume warehouse. Requires flexibility for shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays. Physical requirements: standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., operating equipment.
