Event Program Specialist

Under direction of the Education Program Manager, coordinates all details of multiple competitions or events; Assists with projects and activities geared to serving Arizona teachers, the legal community, and members of the public pertaining to access to justice promotion.Assists with coordination and administration of programs and the agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages academic competitions and events, including event logistics, and meeting specific competition standards if available. Coordinates assigned events details, attending to ensure on-site logistics function smoothly. Serves as a liaison and facilitates collaboration between schools and other community resources. Provides technical assistance to all event registrants. Technical assistance would include but is not limited to assisting with registration, verifying hotel arrangements, and assisting with website navigation. Uses technology to effectively communicate with participants in a variety of settings throughout the state. Works closely with other Foundation staff on activity-based teams ensuring that work assignments are clearly defined, established timelines are followed and key milestones are met. Ensures that progress reports are regularly communicated to managers and directors. Works closely with Foundation staff to ensure LawForKids website is current and up to date for academic competitions and other events.
