Senior Architectural Designer

Great construction starts long before the first hammer swings. We're looking for a Senior Architectural Designer to shape how residential projects get designed, permitted, and delivered across California. You'll work directly with our founders, Owner Representatives, engineers, and contractors to turn ideas into construction-ready projects. You do not need a license. If you've spent years producing residential construction documents and getting projects through California cities, we want to talk to you. Senior Job Captains, Architectural Project Managers, and Residential Designers are all encouraged to apply. What you will do Produce construction documents for remodels, additions, ADUs, and custom homes Flag zoning issues, setback conflicts, and structural concerns during feasibility Lead permit applications from submittal through approval, working directly with California planning and building departments Resolve plan check corrections and keep projects moving Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors through preconstruction Help build our drawing standards and QA processes as the team grows What we're looking for 5+ years of California residential design experience Strong AutoCAD skills (Revit is a plus) Working knowledge of CRC, Title 24, and California zoning and permitting Comfortable talking directly with cities, consultants, and contractors License welcome but not required What we offer Up to $400/mo health insurance Paid Time Off Sick Time Off Company Stock plans Revive is a venture-backed proptech company built on the belief that the future starts at home.
