About the Role: Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Cardiac Neuro Registered Nurse, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, providing health education, and supporting wellness and illness prevention. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients while working in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for acutely ill patients in a Med-Surg/Telemetry setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
- Conduct ongoing assessments, develop nursing diagnoses, and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health management, disease prevention, and wellness.
- Promote a safe, healing environment while maintaining high standards of care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry RN Acute Care experience (within the last 1-2 years).
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Active Florida RN license or multistate RN license; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida licensure after relocation.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- NIHSS Certification required within 30 days of hire; will work under NIHSS credentials until certified.
