Position Summary

Resicum International, LLC is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanic II professionals to support P-8A aircraft maintenance operations at NAS Jacksonville in support of VP-62.

The Aircraft Mechanic II will perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, servicing, and modifications. This position requires strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a fast-paced operational environment.

The ideal candidate will have solid aircraft maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a professional aircraft maintenance team.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on P-8A aircraft.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft systems and components.
• Perform maintenance on aircraft structures, engines, flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Conduct aircraft inspections and identify maintenance discrepancies.
• Perform aircraft servicing, repairs, component replacement, and modifications.
• Interpret and apply aircraft technical manuals, engineering documentation, drawings, and manufacturer's publications.
• Support aircraft modifications and technical directive compliance.
• Assist with maintenance planning and provide technical input for aircraft repairs and modifications.
• Lead or assist maintenance teams during complex aircraft maintenance tasks as required.
• Complete required aircraft maintenance records and documentation.
• Support corrosion control and aircraft preservation activities.
• Follow applicable Navy aircraft maintenance procedures and local operating instructions.
• Maintain required qualifications, certifications, and training.
• Promote a safe and professional work environment while complying with applicable maintenance and safety procedures.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

• Previous professional aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing aircraft mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Experience working with aircraft structures, engines, flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, or related aircraft systems.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft technical publications, maintenance manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Ability to diagnose aircraft system malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple maintenance tasks in an operational environment.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a maintenance team.
• Ability to provide technical assistance and lead maintenance personnel during complex tasks when required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required P-8A qualifications and certifications.
• Ability to work the scheduled 0700–1500 day shift .
• Ability to meet all applicable security and NAS Jacksonville installation access requirements.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications

• P-8A aircraft maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• U.S. military aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience supporting Navy aviation maintenance operations.
• Experience working in an operational aircraft maintenance environment.
• Experience with aircraft maintenance documentation and computerized maintenance systems.
• Experience with aircraft modifications, technical directives, or corrosion control programs.

P-8A Qualifications

Selected candidates will be required to complete applicable P-8A qualification and training requirements associated with their assigned duties.

Security Requirement

Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Candidates must be able to maintain the required security clearance and meet all applicable background investigation, CAC, and NAS Jacksonville installation access requirements.
