Job Description:Job Title Business Functional AnalystCorporate Title Assistant Vice PresidentLocation New York, NYOverviewAs an Analyst, you will have the opportunity to influence the functional strategy and related deliveries from “Day One” while designing the functional blueprints and related requirements to expand upon our digital and automated Client Onboarding platform to grow revenue and reduce friction (costs/manual processes). We are looking for a hands-on Vice President Senior Product Owner/Lead Business Analyst to join our Business Platforms and Process Automation team with experience leading teams and interfacing with stakeholders to solve the complex Client Onboarding challenges that Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank faces today. The aim is to create a single product agnostic global Client Onboarding platform with self-service capability for the clients to request new deals and get setup quickly in order to transact. You will be providing functional requirements to build components of our single-user interface portal, our key-stone technology platform that is both internal and external client-facing. Lead functional blueprinting and requirements definition to enhance digital onboarding capabilitiesAct as a senior liaison between business, operations, product, and engineering teams, ensuring functional solutions align to business priorities and regulatory expectationsDrive backlog ownership, prioritization, functional testing, and production readiness to support reliable releases and continuous improvementEvaluate complex onboarding processes to identify and implement solutions that reduce manual effort, operational risk, and costProvide functional leadership across web portals, Application Programming Interface (APIs), and workflow tools supporting both internal users and external clientsSkills You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree or extensive equivalent experience in technology, business systems, or functional deliveryProven ability to solve complex business and operational challenges through structured analysis and functional solution designStrong track record of owning functional scope and delivering measurable outcomes in fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environments Experience working within Agile delivery models, including close collaboration with technology teamsAdvanced expertise in functional requirements leadership, producing clear Epics, Features, and User Stories that drive high‑quality implementationSkills That Will Help You ExcelGreat attitude and a collaborative team playerEnjoy working within a "Tribe" encompassing tech, business, product, and operations teammatesExcellent communication skills oral and writtenExpectationsIt is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion.The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $153,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
