Machinist II - 2nd Shift

Location: Burnsville, MN. Position: Production Machining Machinist. Role Type: Onsite. Security Clearance: None. Pay Range: $18.67 - $35.02 per hour. Shift Schedule Second Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm‑1:30am (first shift training for 3‑4 months). What You Will Do Set up production machines and perform operations, including positioning, aligning, and securing work pieces. Read blueprints and perform inspections using tools such as indicators, micrometers, calipers, and surface plates. Adjust machines and perform machining processes with strong analytical skills. Inspect and certify own work, keeping production equipment in good working order. Perform preventive maintenance (daily, quarterly, annual) on equipment. Read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively to groups of customers or coworkers. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience. U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or granted refugee/asylee status). Preferred Qualifications Two‑year machinist or tooling degree, or equivalent CNC machining experience. 2+ years of CNC Mill/Lathe experience. Experience with Mazak Mazatrol or similar machining supervision systems. Production manufacturing experience. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
