As Guardian continues to grow, we are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven In-Home Sales Representative who knows how to build trust, communicate value, and close business.

Position Overview

As an In-Home Sales Representative, you will meet with qualified homeowners in their homes, identify their needs, present Guardian's flooring solutions, and guide them through the purchasing decision.

Successful candidates will be confident communicators, strong relationship builders, and skilled closers who are motivated by performance-based compensation.

Guardian provides initial classroom and hands-on training to ensure our sales professionals understand our products, installation processes, sales approach, and customer experience standards.

Responsibilities

In-Home Consultations Conduct professional in-home consultations with prospective customers to understand their needs, evaluate their space, and recommend the appropriate Guardian solution.

Product Knowledge Develop an in-depth understanding of Guardian's products, installation processes, features, and benefits and confidently communicate that value to homeowners.

Relationship Building Establish trust and rapport with customers by listening to their needs, addressing concerns, and recommending solutions tailored to their project.

Closing Sales Utilize strong sales and closing skills to convert qualified opportunities into Guardian customers. Effectively overcome objections, communicate value, and confidently ask for the sale.

Sales Presentations Deliver professional and compelling presentations that clearly differentiate Guardian Garage Floors from competitors and demonstrate the value of choosing Guardian.

Follow-Up Maintain proactive communication with prospective customers and follow up on outstanding opportunities to maximize close rates and generate referrals.

Performance Goals Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals while maintaining Guardian's standards for professionalism, integrity, and customer satisfaction.

Digital Sales Process Utilize Guardian-provided digital sales tools, presentations, product samples, and other resources to create a professional and consistent customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven success in in-home sales, preferably in home improvement or another high-ticket consumer sales environment.
• Demonstrated ability to close sales and achieve performance goals.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent negotiation, objection-handling, and closing abilities.
• Highly self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a performance-driven, commission-based environment.
• Ability to learn technical product information and communicate it clearly to homeowners.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends when customer appointments require it.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the assigned sales territory.

Compensation & Earning Potential

Guardian's compensation program is designed to reward performance. High-performing sales professionals have the opportunity to significantly increase their earnings through a combination of tiered commissions and monthly performance bonuses.
