The Louisiana State Police Special Investigations Section (SIS) is anticipating a vacancy for an Administrative Program Specialist-A . LSP SIS is a group of four statewide units that address specific crimes using specialized techniques, tools, and training. This section includes the Special Victims Unit, the Insurance Fraud/Auto Theft Unit, the Technical Support Unit, and the Cyber Crime Unit. This Administrative Program Specialist-A position serves both administrative and program functions within LSP SIS. Duties include serving as confidential assistant to the statewide Commander, coordinating SIS personnel matters with Human Resources and Civil Service, managing payroll and other administrative duties, and assisting the Commander and OICs with visibility and implementation of program goals for all four units. An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies: Accepting Direction : The ability to be open and willing to follow guidance or instructions. Job Duties: As an Administrative Program Specialist-A, you will assist with program operations, coordinate administrative functions, and ensure the effective implementation of policies and procedures to support organizational goals. In this role, you will:
Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
