The Job
We are hiring an Engineering Technician to build, assemble, test, and inspect electronic hardware used in automotive technology.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical hardware
- Solder, crimp, and connect wiring/components
- Build and test prototypes
- Read technical drawings and instructions
- Inspect completed work for quality
- Use tools such as soldering irons, torque tools, and multimeters
- Assist engineers with prototype builds and troubleshooting
- Document test and build results
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Experience with soldering and electronic assembly
- Able to read technical drawings
- Comfortable using hand tools and electronic test equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred: IPC-610, IPC-620, or similar certification.
