About the Role
The Company is seeking a Global Public Policy Leader with a focus on US policy to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing policy priorities at the federal and state levels, overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive policy campaigns. This role requires a strategic mindset, a keen understanding of US political dynamics, and the ability to drive business growth while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships, harnessing stakeholder engagement, and coordinating with various teams to advance policy goals. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field, or a Bachelor's degree with significant experience, and a proven track record of successful relationship-building and integrated public affairs strategies. Applicants for this role at the company should be action-oriented, outcomes-focused, and able to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. The position demands an innovator and self-starter with excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. The candidate must be adept at influencing and leading diverse coalitions, as well as engaging with internal and external stakeholders to build consensus around strategic actions. A background in the biopharmaceutical industry, trade association, government, or a related field is preferred, with at least 7 years of experience.
