Data Annotator

Role Overview

Help improve next-generation AI systems by producing accurate, high-quality annotations for video and audio data. This remote contract role focuses on careful data labeling, quality review, and clear documentation. No previous AI experience is required; relevant domain knowledge and a precise, methodical approach are valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Annotate video and audio samples according to detailed project guidelines and protocols.
• Review, validate, and improve existing annotations to support accuracy and consistency.
• Identify, flag, and document edge cases and ambiguous data for clarification.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify annotation criteria and resolve questions.
• Maintain detailed records of completed work and submit deliverables by established milestones.
• Share feedback on annotation tools and workflows to improve processes.
• Ensure annotated data meets quality assurance standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Data annotation experience, particularly with video and audio content, is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to complex data tasks.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow highly specific annotation instructions.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make objective decisions about nuanced data.
• Familiarity with data-labeling platforms or annotation tools is a plus.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $6 to $10 per hour.
