We’re hiring a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a busy team with vendor communication and invoice tracking. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with email, and keeping things moving behind the scenes.
This role is less about accounting and more about communication, data entry, and follow-up.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with vendors via email regarding payment status and invoice questions
- Follow up on missing or incomplete invoice information
- Enter and update invoice data in the system
- Double-check entries for accuracy and completeness
- Organize and maintain digital and paper records
- Provide general administrative support to the team
Requirements :
- 1–2 years of experience in data entry, admin support, or similar role
- Associate’s degree required
- Strong email communication skills and professional tone
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable using Excel and basic office tools
- Ability to stay organized and keep up in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- Experience working with invoices or vendor communication
- Familiarity with systems like Workday (not required)
- Strong time management and organizational skills

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
