Medical Economics Analyst

Driving financial reporting and analytical activities, the full-time Medical Economics Analyst will focus on evaluating Healthcare Management's P&L, identifying medical cost savings, and supporting Value Based Program analytics while working remotely. Key responsibilities Provide analysis to inform network and medical cost management strategies within Health Care Management Develop and monitor metrics and reports related to medical cost performance, including variance analysis and revenue details Coordinate and consolidate the HCM Monthly Operating Review, leveraging analytics from multidisciplinary teams to evaluate medical cost activities Required qualifications High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred 3-5 years of experience in health care/managed care with direct responsibility in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Medical Cost Management Progressive understanding of managed care business processes, data, and systems related to claims payment and utilization management Experience collaborating with business partners in medical cost analysis and financial reporting Solid understanding of P&L management principles and medical cost trends Virtual Vocations Inc
