The Job You Will Perform:

• Must comply and support all applicable GMPs, Site Security, and Food Packaging Defense requirements that are referenced in the facilities GFSI food packaging safety program.
• Estimate cost, change or update orders in company software.
• Maintain customer files. Update customer, planning, account executive & mill on any issues.
• Process and check all orders including issuing factory tickets and specification drawings to Planning. Establish and update delivery dates on shipments.
• Monitor inventory and update Planning on customer needs.
• Issue purchase orders from the company software system, check receivers for tooling vs. purchase orders, update receivers with accounting, update inventory.
• Stay on task while dealing with interruptions and scheduling changes.
• Other duties and accountabilities as assigned.

The Skills You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience and/or training; 4 One (1) or more years previous customer service experience, office training or work, or related experience preferred
• Effectively and accurately use communications. Must possess good verbal and written/grammatical skills, in addition to mathematical skills.
• Must possess knowledge and have experience using Microsoft Office using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; previous experience with Epicor or experience in other ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening skills required.
• Must possess a cooperative attitude and a dedication to the mission of the company, as well as, working effectively within a team.
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
