We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.What you'll do on a typical day:Create and execute project plans, manage milestones and risks and ensure deployment resources are capableDevelop training, tools, templates and dashboards to measure project statusHandle assigned local and/or remote staff, including mentoring and training, resolving issues/problems and ensuring staff matches the requirements of the client's service levelsProvide leadership for project execution; offer direction and guidance to the project team and communicate project requirements to stakeholders and operations leadersServe as a development and educational resource for team members; provide opportunities for team members so they can continue to grow, develop and earn recognitionSet defined expectations for performance and ensure team members achieve or exceed those expectationsCreate an enjoyable work environment that is conducive to effective creative thinkingAct as the primary project management leader for new business pursuits from sales to startupDirectly handle milestones, project workflows and resourcing for assigned projects/clientsDefine key skills, training and development paths for the teamTravel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 75% of the Must possess a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or passport to comply with federal travel regulations. Familiarity and ability to comply with TSA security procedures. Ability to travel domestically via road, rail and air as required for the role and pursuant to Company travel and expense requirements.What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you'll need:Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience2 years of experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously of varying scope and size2 years of experience using project management softwareMicrosoft Office experienceIt'd be great if you also have:Advanced degree in Project Management, Supply Chain or related fieldPMP certificationLean Six Sigma certificationExperience in a transportation, supply chain, logistics, distribution or manufacturing environmentSolid understanding of professional services economics, and experience with change management processesAbility to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesGXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
