Sr. Accountant – Whitewater, WI Environment: Fast?moving, growth?oriented, hands?on accounting team Role Overview The Sr. Accountant will play a key role in core accounting operations with a strong emphasis on cost accounting , month?end close , and general ledger ownership . This person will be a critical contributor to an evolving finance function and must bring a growth mindset to keep pace with a dynamic, rapidly scaling organization. Top Responsibilities Lead and support cost accounting activities, including inventory analysis, standard cost updates, and variance review Own key components of the month?end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with strong attention to detail Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls Partner cross?functionally to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency Assist with audits, reporting, and ad?hoc financial analysis as needed Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong cost accounting background Proven experience with month?end close and general ledger management Solid understanding of GAAP Growth mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast?moving environment Software: NetSuite (preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills Background: Ideally someone with a blend of public accounting and corporate accounting experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
