About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Litigation Attorney, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, enjoys mentoring junior attorneys, and takes pride in delivering high-quality legal work for institutional clients. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of contested foreclosure matters and related litigation, with a strong focus on courtroom advocacy and strategy. This role requires excellent courtroom presence, trial skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of foreclosure litigation, including contested hearings, trials, mediation, and motion practice. Supervise junior attorneys or paralegals and train/mentor as needed. Develop case strategy and manage cases from inception through resolution. Draft, review, and argue legal pleadings, motions, and memoranda. Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings throughout various jurisdictions. Attend and conduct trials, depositions, mediations, and hearings. Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, mediations, and trial testimony Collaborate with internal departments to ensure legal accuracy, compliance, and documentation integrity. Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders on case progress and outcomes. Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting foreclosure and creditors' rights practice. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California 7+ years of California Foreclosure, Creditors' Rights, or REO experience 5+ years of Litigation OR trial experience required. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to handle a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
