Job Description

Role Summary:

Lead orchestration layer within VIA C&S platform ensuring seamless lifecycle flow across systems and partners.

Hands-on role focused on API orchestration, lifecycle flow, and system integration.

Responsibilities:

• Own lifecycle orchestration across systems

• Define API contracts and integration models

• Ensure data and lifecycle consistency

• Drive event-based architectures

• Bridge backend, partner, and experience layers

• Resolve integration and flow issues

• Enable partner onboarding (e.g., RS2)

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• 10+ years in platform/integration roles
• Strong API and distributed systems experience
• Event-driven systems, partner integrations
• Core Competencies:
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage technical and non-technical global audiences.
• Metrics & Impact Driven: Ability to translate customer needs into solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Self-Starter: Autonomous and proactive, able to drive execution in ambiguous environments.
• Technical Depth: Strong systems thinking, ability to work with data/SQL and collaborate with senior engineering leaders.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset with experience working across diverse teams and sharing knowledge effectively.
• Hands-on experience using AI/ML, generative AI, copilots, or agentic automation to enhance product discovery, requirements development, operational analysis, data investigation, and daily execution workflows.

The estimated salary range for this positionis $131,600 to $233,700 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
