The Nursing Director Interventional Cardiology reports directly to executive hospital leadership while partnering closely with the Cath Lab Medical Director and other clinical leaders throughout the cardiovascular service line. This leader provides day-to-day oversight of the Cath Lab team and collaborates with directors across multiple departments to ensure seamless patient care, operational excellence, and continued program growth.
The Nursing Director Interventional Cardiology will lead a fast-paced Cath Lab providing advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures for a diverse patient population. This department is supported by experienced nurses, cardiovascular technologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary professionals who are committed to delivering outstanding clinical outcomes in a highly collaborative environment. Leaders who enjoy remaining clinically connected will appreciate the opportunity to participate in procedural care when needed.
The Nursing Director Interventional Cardiology will provide both clinical and operational leadership for the Cath Lab, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and clinical quality. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, supporting professional development, overseeing competency programs, and driving quality improvement initiatives across the department. This leader will also manage staffing, budgeting, resource allocation, equipment oversight, and physician relationships while helping strengthen the overall Cardiovascular Service Line through strategic collaboration and operational leadership.
