\n \nJoin a global AM100 law firm in its Miami office as a Real Estate Finance Associate, working within an established and growing team advising banks, debt funds, financial institutions, investment firms and borrowers on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
\n \nThe Miami team is led by an experienced Real Estate Finance partner and forms part of a global real estate finance practice , giving associates exposure to complex domestic, cross-border and structured financing matters across a wide range of asset classes.
\n \nThe work includes loan origination, purchase, sale, syndication and securitisation , alongside construction, permanent, bridge and mezzanine financing.
\n \nThe firm offers a collaborative and supportive environment , with strong opportunities for professional development, client exposure and progression within a global platform.
\n \nWhat You'll Do
\n- \n
- Represent lenders and borrowers on commercial real estate finance transactions \n
- Draft and negotiate loan documents and related agreements \n
- Handle due diligence across real estate, title, survey and financing matters \n
- Work on acquisition, construction, bridge, permanent and mezzanine loans \n
- Support syndicated lending and other complex financing transactions \n
- Work directly with clients, opposing counsel and other transaction parties \n
- Assist with restructurings, workouts and distressed real estate matters \n
What You'll Need
\n- \n
- 4+ years of commercial real estate finance experience at a law firm \n
- Strong experience representing lenders and/or borrowers \n
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills \n
- Experience with construction lending, bridge, mezzanine, syndications, intercreditor matters or CMBS is highly desireable. \n
- Experience across commercial property sectors such as hospitality, multifamily, retail or residential \n
- Florida Bar admission , or eligibility to obtain it promptly \n
- Strong academic credentials \n
