Warehouse Shipping Clerk (Hiring Immediately)

Position OverviewAs a Shipping Clerk, you will verify and keep records on outgoing shipments.

This is a 2nd shift position starting at 12:30pm on Sunday and 130pm Monday to Thursday. The starting rate is $22.00 per hour. Job Description

Description

• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route products

• Record shipping data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accouting, and record keeping purposes

• Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damage and non-conformance to specifications.

• Warehouse : Freezer (-20F to 0F)

• Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)

• Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

• Office : Office Temperature (65F to 75F)

Skills

• Specialized Knowledge : Pallet Jack experience preferred.

• Special Skills : Prefer candidates with experience in grocery selection. Ability to work the overnight shift and overtime is required.

• 0-2 : At least six months of warehouse experience. Pallet Jack experience preferred.
