Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this customer-focused role, you will support access control activities, observe for loss prevention concerns, and deliver outstanding service through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity in a caring, reliable, and innovative environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, team members, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee traffic, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or potential hazards in accordance with post instructions.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by documenting incidents, assisting with de-escalation, and maintaining detailed activity logs and/or incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
