Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entry points, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor customer traffic, observe for unusual behavior, and report maintenance, access control, and/or policy-related issues to the appropriate site representative.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security professional license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
