RN - PCU

PCU/IMC Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team in a progressive care unit/intermediate care (PCU/IMC) setting. Candidates will be expected to provide high-quality care to patients while floating within a designated zone.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions, including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and post-surgical cases.Monitor and manage patient conditions, including administering and titrating cardiac drips, insulin, and other medications as required.Float between multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius as needed.Participate in clinical orientation and continuous education to enhance nursing skills.Effectively communicate with healthcare team members and provide support to patient care initiatives.QualificationsA minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU/IMC setting is required.Experience with neuro patients and familiarity with electronic health records systems, particularly Epic, is preferred.Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.Ability to manage and titrate drips such as dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, amiodarone, ativan, and insulin.Work EnvironmentCandidates will be scheduled to work at multiple facilities as part of a collaborative float pool. Shifts will include a mix of days and weekends, with the expectation of flexibility in scheduling to meet unit needs. Orientation and training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role.Floating RequirementsTravelers will be required to float to various units within the designated zone, covering facilities within a specified radius.
