Full Time Pharmacy Delivery Call Center Clerk

Cashier Position

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, operates a computerized cash register to record department items sold. Reconciles cash and register documentation at the end of the day. Performs other department duties as assigned. Demonstrates excellent customer services skills.

Qualifications: Education Minimum: High School diploma or GED. Credentials/Licensure Minimum: N/A. Related Experience Minimum: Three to six months of previous related experience. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities include strong interpersonal skills, ability to read and write, perform non-complex arithmetic and calculations, ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail, ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks while coping with frequent interruptions, ability to stand for up to 80% of work time, presents and operates in a professional manner, computer competency, and physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.

Essential Functions include greeting customers, patients and colleagues with courtesy, organizing the cashier area, accurately operating a computerized cash register, assuming accountability for cash at the end of each shift, maintaining food product inventory, attending meetings, training new staff, participating in inventory processes, maintaining good rapport and cooperative relationships, maintaining confidentiality, and behaving in accordance with the Code of Conduct, Service Excellence Standards, and the Mission, Vision and Values of Trinity Health.
