Registered Nurse Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, respond promptly to arrhythmias, and document findings accurately.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as prescribed by the healthcare team.
  
  
• 
  Assess patient conditions regularly, identify changes, and escalate concerns to appropriate personnel.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with all safety, licensing, and certification standards required by the facility.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at time of application.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Be certified in BLS and ACLS, active and valid at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Possess proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and pass the facilitys assessments.
  
  
• 
  Provide at least one recent reference from a managerial or supervisory role within the past 12 months.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all travel, drug screening, and background check requirements.
