Assembler I - Kitting | Warehouse Associate

Location: Covington GA 30014
Pay Rate: $15.50/hr
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Employment Type: Temporary to Hire (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and professional Assembler I - Kitting associates to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling, inspecting, and moving materials while maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and kit products according to standard operating procedures.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality compliance.
• Move materials, parts, and products within the warehouse using handcarts and equipment.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Follow all safety, quality, and attendance requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of continuous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or quality-related role with the same employer.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs .
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures (warm summers/cool winters).
• Ability to work in a moderate to loud manufacturing environment.
