Job Summary
We are seeking a Dental Patient care Coordinator to join our team.Location
We are seeking a Full-Time Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our front-office team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident with insurance verification, excellent with patient communication, and skilled at keeping a dental office schedule running smoothly.

This is not a billing/claims position. We have a full billing team and a patient accounts specialist.
Your focus will be front-office insurance accuracy and schedule optimization .

Key Responsibilities

Verify insurance eligibility and benefits with accuracy (Dentrix Ascend)
Greet and check in/out patients with a warm, positive attitude
Calculate copays confidently and clearly for parents
Ensure the schedule stays optimized, filled, and flowing smoothly
Communicate with parents about coverage, authorizations, and treatment timing
Coordinate with clinical staff to avoid delays
Support a fast-paced dental environment with professionalism and empathy

Requirements

Prior experience in a dental front office role (insurance knowledge required)
Strong understanding of dental insurance breakdowns
Ability to recognize insurance discrepancies and resolve them
Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend or willingness to learn quickly
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Organized, reliable, and proactive
Enjoys working with children and families
