Myeloma Clinical Scholar, Faculty Physician (Associate/Professor)

Overview Myeloma Clinical Scholar, Faculty Physician (Associate/Professor) The Rutgers Cancer Institute seeks a mid- to senior-level academically oriented hematologist/oncologist for a clinical research position with a clinical focus in myeloma, a record of original clinical research, and exceptional clinical and leadership skills. Academic rank and clinical research support are commensurate with experience. Uniquely qualified candidates may be considered for additional leadership responsibilities as Section Head for Hematologic Malignancy. Responsibilities Deliver clinical care in hematology/oncology with a focus on myeloma, including patient assessment and management within an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Engage in clinical research with opportunities for collaboration between Rutgers Cancer Institute and RWJBarnabas Health. Participate in teaching activities for medical students, residents, and fellows; deliver targeted lectures in area of expertise. Potentially assume leadership responsibilities (e.g., Section Head for Hematologic Malignancy) for uniquely qualified candidates.
