Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Chula Vista, our rehabilitation facility is designed with children in mind. We provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere where children can freely explore movement and engage in play-based interventions. Our team-oriented environment fosters collaboration among staff, ensuring that knowledge-sharing and collective growth are prioritized. You will be working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, focusing on one-on-one patient interaction and collaborative team meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy interventions to infants, toddlers, and children dealing with conditions such as neuromuscular disorders, orthopedic issues, genetic conditions, and developmental delays.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess each child's unique capabilities and challenges, subsequently developing individualized care plans aimed at achieving functional goals, which may include improving mobility and promoting independence.
• Utilize innovative, play-based strategies that encourage engagement and motivate children to participate in their therapeutic sessions, making physical therapy an enjoyable experience.
• Work closely with families and caregivers to impart educational resources, home programs, and ongoing support, ensuring a coordinated approach to care that extends beyond our facility.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient progress through our user-friendly Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, allowing for streamlined communication and analysis of treatment outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and educational opportunities that contribute to your professional development and enhance the care provided to our patients.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a pediatric setting, although new graduates with relevant clinical rotations are highly encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

Fortis Motion LLC offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits package.
