Work Environment

This position is onsite, providing you with the opportunity to work directly with patients in a dynamic clinical setting. You will collaborate closely with a team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing for a balanced work life while making a meaningful impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and establish clear treatment objectives.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and efficient care.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing a variety of techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Promote functional independence through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and activities that enhance mobility.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Evaluate patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure treatment efficacy.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment procedures accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Educate patients and their families about prevention strategies, exercise regimens, and lifestyle modifications to improve wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients, assessing and treating musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, from active individuals seeking recovery from sports-related injuries to post-operative patients requiring skilled rehabilitation to regain optimal physical function.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Excellent manual therapy skills and a thorough understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT, is preferred.
• Experience in developing and conducting customized exercise programs based on individual assessments.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
