Empower-Self Physical Therapy is looking for a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team in Chula Vista, California. In this full-time position, you will work collaboratively with a group of two experienced physical therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide exceptional patient care. Work Environment

The work environment at Empower-Self Physical Therapy is both collaborative and dynamic. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing and identifying the goals and requirements of each patient upon their arrival for consultation.
• Managing a patient caseload efficiently, seeing one patient per hour to ensure individualized attention and care.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that include manual therapy, exercise programs, and patient education.
• Designing tailored fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique needs of each individual.
• Documenting all patient care services, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.
• Encouraging patients to adopt healthier lifestyles by improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Promoting alternatives to medications and surgical procedures to enhance patients' emotional and physical health

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid California license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A pristine professional record devoid of any board or disciplinary actions taken against the license.
• A strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in developing and implementing exercise protocols.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, with particular familiarity with WebPT being highly beneficial.

Preferred Experience

While we encourage newly licensed therapists to apply, preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, as this will facilitate a more seamless integration into our practice. Compensation and Benefits
