We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Lakeland Health & Fitness, located in Chula Vista, California. This full-time, onsite role involves working in our specialized Rehabilitation Center, focusing on orthopedic cases. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work in a dynamic rehabilitation facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology and treatment modalities. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a balanced work schedule that supports both professional and personal well-being. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, rehabilitation aides, and physicians, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for all patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and functional evaluations to determine each patient's unique physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs and goals of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, joint mobilization, myofascial release, and therapeutic exercise to facilitate patient recovery.
• Set measurable, outcome-driven objectives to gauge progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic policies to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client population includes individuals suffering from orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with patients of all ages, utilizing a patient-centered approach to empower each individual to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher, such as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, with clinical rotations in orthopedics accepted for recent graduates.
• Proven proficiency in therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and functional movement assessments.
• Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills to effectively interact with diverse patients and their families.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work harmoniously within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with advanced training or specialized certifications in orthopedic rehabilitation or sports therapy will be prioritized. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and experience in utilizing treatment modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic taping are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
